About Us
We are a labour supply company providing trained and competent staff for Rail and Civil projects. We believe that just holding the qualification, whilst playing a part, does not make you competent to undertake the role.
We aim to ensure all the staff we supply are sufficiently trained, hold the correct competencies, have relevant experience within that role, and have the underpinning knowledge and ability to apply to everyday site conditions.
Our Services
We supply trained, competent and experienced staff to undertake safety critical roles, ranging from COSS to Engineering Supervisor as well as labour force. Metis Rail also offer planning services which including the creation of Safe Work Packs, Line Blockages and arranging access for possessions.
Services
PTS Operatives/Ground Worker
We provide skilled PTS operatives and groundworkers, ensuring a highly experienced workforce with a minimum of 75% white hats in gangs. All operatives are track-inducted and hold small tools as standard. We also offer transient welfare facilities where needed.
Access Planning/SSOW planning
We provide comprehensive Access Planning and Safe System of Work (SSOW) planning services. We arrange works within possessions, book line blockages, and supply tailored SSOW packs. Whether you need individual work packs, a planner on a day rate, or long-term project support, we ensure safe and efficient rail operations.
Safety Critical Staff
Metis Rail provides a range of highly skilled safety-critical staff to support railway operations. Our team includes COSS/PIC, Engineering Supervisors, Machine and Crane Controllers, Possession Support Staff, DC Isolation Strapping Teams, Level Crossing Attendants, and Points Operators, ensuring safe and efficient rail infrastructure management.
